This is my 15th year in the education. I taught Secondary ELA for 12 years before moving into administration. As my first foray into administration, I was the Academic Services Administrator for a small, rural district in the Adirondacks. I handled our grants, all data management, and was also the PK-12 Curriculum Director. I've spent the last three years at BOCES, serving our 31 districts as we carry out the work of the Regents Reform Agenda. This work includes the new teacher and principal evaluations, Common Core curriculum, the ELA and Math Instructional Shifts, and DDI. It's an exciting time for us in education. Let's embrace the challenge.
